Music Artist Glasgow (UK)  

 Nico Groenendijk is a musician based in Glasgow. He makes alternative rock and dark folk music. His songs are full of raw emotion and focus on deep personal feelings. He records his music in local Glasgow studios and uses his own photography for his album cover art.

The Sound: This acoustic project is a shift away from his usual rock style. It has a stripped-back, dark folk sound.

 The whole project was recorded using reel-to-reel tape recorder.

My Life Is a Song (Album, 2024) – Nico’s first full album which built his signature sound of moody guitars and raw vocals.

"Under the Whisper Tree" (2026) –  His latest song that stands out because of its unique 12-string acoustic guitar sound.

"Dark Wolves" (2026) – The main track from his new EP, focused on themes of being alone.

"Naked On A Marble Floor" (2026) – A popular track that highlights his honest songwriting.
